When approached by Kelly-anne so close to the wedding date I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to cover their wedding as it was the beginning of september and is usually a busy time of year. But luckily I had the date free and once she went over what she had planned for her wedding I felt so lucky that she had contacted me. She was having difficulty figuring out what package she would need for her wedding day and had found that a number of other photographers were unwilling to help her for her intimate wedding. So I had a good chat with her and we figured out an option to suit her and Mark's wedding day.
Having been contacted from a fellow photographer about a bride who was looking for a wedding photographer I jumped at the chance. It was only to be a small wedding with about 20 people, based in West Looe with the lovely views of the bay behind us.
I always love weddings in August and having never been to Bude before I jumped at the chance when an old work colleague messaged me about her daughter getting married and that she would be needing photography. The marriage took place in St Swithin's church which was pretty close to widemouth bay and Treyeo farm which is where the reception was held.
Write herI have been so slack at updating recently and need to get back on my horse. But with the lovely cornish summer and shoots happening here and there I have found little time to keep on top of the blog which is a shame. I love to keep folks involved and informed on my goings on so you can catch a glimpse at my latest work etc. e...
So I'm not a big fan of the social platform that now rules our lives that is facebook, but I do know however that I am on it daily and update it far more often than I would my website in the potential that more people would see my posts. But when it comes to my photography business it's probably far more beneficial for me to update my website blog and keep that updated instead. With my site provider it's no harder to update my blog as it is my facebook feed but I guess there's no instant feedback with my website which maybe why I find it harder to update it so frequently.
For a little experiment I am going to post over 20 times on my facebook Business page tomorrow to see how much if any attention it gets. Then I will have to try next tuesday maybe to post a load of posts on my website in one day and see if that has any effect. I don't think I would be able to manage 20 posts in one day on my website though however but I will try and share a bunch of stuff and see if any of it gives me a boost in visits etc!
Anyways thought I'd share that with you, I know not all my posts are of great interest so hopefully this will spice me up a bit and make me think outside of the box some more!
